一、 教學目標
1、四會掌握主要句型:How heavy are you? I′ m 48 kg.
I′ m thinner than you, and shorter.
2、能聽懂並完成Let′ s try部分的練習.
3、初步瞭解重量、長度單位的英語表達形式並能在實際生活中運用。
4、學中用,用中學,培養學生養成運用英語解決問題的好習慣。
二、 教學重難點分析
1、 本課的重點是學會正確詢問體重並根據回答作出討論,涉及的句型是:
How heavy are you ? I‘m _____ kg. I′ m thinner than you ,and shorter.
2、 難點:根據實際情況靈活運用How tall/long/heavy… are you ?能正確運用長度和重量單位。
三、 教學準備
1、 課前準備錄音機磁帶。
2、 教師準備本課時所需的表格。
3、 自制教學要學的圖片(多媒體課件)。
四、 教學過程
Step1. Warm up
1、Free talk : Hi, How are you ? How old are you ? How long is your desk?
How tall are you ?…(目的在於複習句型How tall are you?及其回答方式I′ m164cmtall. 同時教師在此環節中及時做出或引導學生做出評論:He is taller than her.)
Step2. Preview
Let′ s try .(學生完成聽錄音選擇練習)
Step3. Presentation.
1、 教師運用圖片的形式,出示本課時主要動畫人物:猴王和八戒
T:Class,today we have two new friends,Monkey King and Ba Jie,Listen,What are they talking?
(多媒體演示以下對話:)
M:Nice to meet you again , Ba Jie I think ,You are heavier than before.
B:No, I′ m not heavier. I′ m stronger. I′ m stronger than you. So I′ m cooler than you.
(課件同時出現四會句型: I ′m stronger. I′ m stronger than you.)
2、 教師引導學生討論:Which one is cooler? Why ?
通過討論,使學生複習鞏固以下句型:
Monkey King is cooler. He is taller than Ba Jie.
3、 繼續通過圖片讓學生模擬去說:
M:Ha ha, I′ m cooler than you. How heavy are you?
B:I′ m100 kg. How heavy are you?
M:I′ m50 kg.
使學生初步感知新句型: How heavy are you?
及回答方式: I′ m ____kg.
4、 教師板書四會句型: How heavy are you? I′ m ____kg.
領讀, 學生分層跟讀。
5、 Drill:(學生以排、行等不同的組織形式分層操練)
S1:Hello, ××. How heavy are you?
S2:I′ m ____kg. How heavy are you? S3
S3:……
6、 學生聽對話錄音跟讀.
Step4 . Practice.
1、通過板書拓展句型:How big are your feet ?
How long are your legs?
M:Ba Jie. I have many presents for you . Look at the nice shoes. How big are your feet?
B:I wear Size 17.
M:How long are your legs?
B:70cm.
M:Here you are .
B:Thank you.
2、Pair work.: make a survey.
