學習目標
語言知識
1. 能夠聽懂、會說Let’s read部分的對話並完成填充句子的練習。
2. 能夠聽懂、會朗讀句子:“I think the little monkey is only 40 cm tall. The monkey is shorter but you are funnier.”
3. 能夠了解雙元音及輔音的音與形,讀出相關例詞。
4. 能掌握對人及事物的身高、長度等的`判斷能力。
語言技能
1.能提高學生閱讀理解能力和按音標讀單詞的能力。
2.培養學生對人及事物的身高、長度等的判斷能力。
情感態度
1. 培養學生關心愛護身邊的小動物的優良道德品質。
2. 在學習中通過遊戲及各種競賽活動培養學生合作意識。
重點
是使學生能夠充分理解,正確朗讀對話。
難點
是學生能看懂、會朗讀句子:“I think the little monkey is only 40 cm tall. The yellow monkey is taller but the little monkey is funnier.”。
教具
多媒體課件,錄音機,錄音帶,小猴玩具,自制小猴圖片若干做爲評價工具
準備活動
1. 情緒熱身
(1) 師生一起看課本第二頁歌謠,跟錄音有節奏地吟唱。
(2) Free talk
教師示範,然後在小組內對話。
T: How tall are you? S: I’m ……
T: I’m 160 cm tall. I’m 2 cm shorter than you.
S: Yes, I’m 2 cm taller than you.
教學過程
一)分步學習對話中的重點語言
1. 教學句型I think the little monkey is only 40 cm tall.
(1) ① 呈現句型:I think …
教師指一名學生問全體學生:“How tall is he?”然後邊做思考的動作邊說:“I think he is about … cm tall. What do you think of him? Guess! How tall is he?” 引導幾名基礎較好的學生回答:“I think he is about … cm tall.”
② 練習句型:I think … 先做示範:I think he is 160 cm tall. I think she is taller than me. 等。
(2) 教學only
教師語氣清晰緩慢地介紹:
Now in our class only I am a teacher. All of you are students. Only讀得重些。
教師叫起幾生,只一名男生或只一名女生,教師介紹:Among them only A is a boy.
板書並認讀only, 學生猜測其含義。
(3)教師拿出小猴玩具或圖片:
T: Look! I have a little monkey.
Guess, how tall is it? I think the little monkey is only 30 cm tall. What about you?
幾生猜測後,教師板書:I think the little monkey is only 30 cm tall.
T: How long is its tail? 板書並認讀單詞tail.
S1: I think its tail is about 20 cm long.

3. (1) 教學funny ? funnier
T: Who can act like a monkey?
幾個學生模仿猴子時,
T: Are they very funny?
Ss: Yes.
T: I think A is funnier. What about you?
S1: I think B is funnier.
板書並認讀funny - funnier, 彩筆標出y及ier,讓學生引起注意。
出示圖片:Look , the little monkey is funnier .
(三)聽讀Let’s read.
1.聽錄音或觀看VCD,回答問題。 教師引出課文:“Ben is watching monkeys at a zoo with his father now. Listen (or watch VCD) and answer the questions.”
(1) What are Ben and his father talking about?
(2) Which monkey is taller?
(3) Which monkey is stronger?
2. 讀,劃知識點
(1) which 哪一個 (2) its tail 它的尾巴 把its與it’s對學生加以區別 (3) I think 我認爲,我想 (4) funnier 比較滑稽
3. 讀課文,完成句子
(Read “Let’s read” and finish the sentences.)
4. 再讀課文,解答疑惑。
鞏固練習
同位練讀Let’s read. 回答問題:
Read and translate the sentences into Chinese.(讀一讀,把下列句子翻譯成漢語。)
1. Which monkey do you like?
