會考英語系動詞考點複習資料

常見的連繫動詞可分爲如下五類:

1.表示"是"的系動詞"be"。它用來表示主語的特徵、狀態或性質。

She is a teacher.

她是一名教師。

We are in the classroom.

我們在教室裏。

2.表示保持一種狀態或態度的連繫動詞有:keep, remain, stay等。

Though it is spring now, it remains cold in this city.

儘管現在是春天了,但這座城市仍然很冷。

We should keep our classroom tidy every day.

我們應當每天保持我們的`教室整潔。

This bar often stays open till twelve at night.

這家酒吧經常一直營業到晚上12點。

3.表示從一種狀態轉變爲另一種狀態的連繫動詞有:become, get, grow, turn, go等。

I became a teacher when I grew up.

我長大後成爲了一名教師。

The weather gets warmer and warmer.

天氣變得越來越暖和了。

In the autumn, the leaves on the trees turn yellow and red.

在秋天,樹上的葉子變黃,變紅了。

Food can go bad easily in summer.

食物在夏天很容易變壞。

It was growing dark.

天漸漸變暗了。

4.表示"看起來"的連繫動詞有:look,seem ,appear。

She looked very happy today.

她今天看起來很高興。

His father seems a serious man.

他的父親似乎是個嚴肅的人。

Everybody appears well prepared.

看來大家都準備好了。

5.表示感官感覺的系動詞有:feel (摸起來),smell (聞起來),taste (嚐起來),sound (聽起來)。

Silk feels soft.

絲摸起來很柔軟。

The flowers smell very sweet.

這些花聞起來很香。

It tastes fine.

它吃起來很好。

The idea sounds quite all right.

這個主意聽起來挺不錯。

特別提示:

連繫動詞沒有被動語態。
