量詞是指用於表示人事物或動作的數量單位的詞。與代表可計數或可量度物體的名詞連用或與數詞連用的詞或詞素，常用來指示某一類別，爲名詞所指派的物體可按其形狀或功用而被歸入這一類別(如漢語“三本書”中的“本”)。

什麼是量詞

量詞 liàngcí[classifier; partitive; quantitafier; measure term; unit word]是用以表示人、事物或動作相關數量單位的詞，所以“一個人、兩隻梨 、三口鐘 、一把茶壺”中的“個、只、口、把”以及表示度量衡的“斤、公斤、鬥、升、尺、寸、丈”等都是用以表示人或事物的數量單位的不同類型。

量詞分爲物量詞和動量詞兩類。物量詞表示人和事物的計算單位，如“一個人”中的“個”。動量詞表示動作次數和發生的時間總量，如“看三次”中的“次”、“看三天”中的`“天”。[1]
