大家好，我叫杜佳洋。今天，我給大家做個自我介紹。

我長得很可愛，圓圓的臉上鑲嵌着一雙烏黑髮亮的眼睛，不高不低的鼻子底下長着一張紅潤的嘴巴，一笑就露出了兩顆 可以停飛機 的大門牙。

我的愛好有很多，比如看電視、玩電腦、畫漫畫 但我最喜歡的是玩電腦了。有一次，學校上電腦課，我第一個把電腦打開，由於電腦開機還需要時間，所以我就不停的喊着： 快點，快點! 終於電腦打開了，但是，我還在埋怨電腦開機時間太長了。正當我進入網站的時候，老師開始講課了。這時，我心裏暗暗地說：老師好煩哪，就不能不講嗎?老師講的我一個字也沒聽下。老師讓完成的'作業也沒做。正當我津津有味的玩的時候，屏幕上突然出現了 二十秒之後關機 的字樣。我知道又要下課了，但我趁老師沒注意又偷偷的玩了一會兒。就在這時，老師來了，我趕緊跑出了教室，唉!我這才躲過了一劫。

我還有很多優點，比如我很有愛心。今年春節，我和媽媽在樓道里發現了一隻流浪狗，它懂得瑟瑟發抖，身上的毛很髒，腿上還有傷。我覺得它很可憐，就把小狗帶回了家，給它洗了個熱水澡，還給它包紮了傷口 在我的悉心照料下，小狗逐漸恢復了健康，和我成了形影不離的朋友。

俗話說 金無足赤，人無完人 ，我也有缺點，那就是太粗心了，常常把加號看成減號。我以後一定改正。

這就是我，一個活潑、聰明、富有愛心的小男孩。

我國著名作家老舍先生說過：驕傲自滿是我們的一座可怕的陷阱，而這個陷阱是我們自己親手挖掘的。我們從祖宗那一輩就開始宣傳杜絕驕傲了，有孔子曰的：三人行，必有我師焉。還有故事書裏面的龜兔賽跑等等。

記得我讀國小的時候，班級裏面選班幹部，被選中的那位說的最多是 不行，不行，我幹不了 ，選來選去就沒下文了，最後重擔還是落到的班長身上。論能力，每個人都可以當選，只不多了那麼的一點 謙虛 。可能在我們的心裏那是謙虛，實質意義上它就是虛僞。

謙虛可以使你永遠把自己置於學習的地位，並有助於發現他人的優點。但是，謙虛決不是客套與虛僞;不是遇到工作時的退縮與推委;更不是所謂的深藏不露。如果有機會需要你發揮自己的能力，而你也擁有這樣的能力，你必須知難而進，當仁不讓，決不能把謙虛作爲推卸責任的藉口!

General Introduction

I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.

Education background

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis.

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulation program for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & ose project for Nanjing sewage treatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.
